Christie Chiles Twillie is a Chicago based Music Director/Pianist. Regional Theatre credits include Skylight Music Theatre’s “Five Guys Named Moe.” Recent credits are A Gentleman’s Guide to Love and Murder, Shrek, Side Show, The Last Five Years, Spring Awakening, Lippa’s Wild Party, Cabaret, A Little Night Music, Sweeney Todd, Jesus Christ Superstar. Christie earned her a BTA nomination for ‘Best Music Direction for her original score for ‘Yellowman,’ and she was a Broadway World Finalist for ‘Best Music Direction’ for Big Fish: The Musical. Among her favorite credits are composing the original score for In The Red & Brown Water (Northwestern University); scoring the short film, ‘Alone’ and serving as a judge for Underscore Theatre’s Musical Theatre Festival. Christie’s Bachelor and Masters studies were in Piano Performance at West Virginia University. She also has a minor in dance from WVU and is a member of the Chicago Federation of Musicians.
